Zulfazuppe (b. 14 February 2000, Lampung, Indonesia) is a painter and illustrator based in Semarang, Indonesia. His practice centers on animal characters used as symbolic storytellers, developed since he began painting in 2018, following years of fine art study.

Guided by the instinctive nature of animals, his works convey emotional and intuitive reflections on life, identity, and inner experience. As his characters evolve in tandem with the artist, they become extensions of personal expression and understated narrative. A distinctive element of his practice is the careful orchestration of color—playful yet harmonious combinations that enhance emotional tone and reinforce each character’s personality.

For Zulfazuppe, painting extends beyond the use of color; it is a process of cultivating discernment and soul, employing imagery as a direct and personal mode of communication.
