Alex Turco (b. 1979, Italy) is an artist–designer living and working between Italy and the United States. His practice unfolds across two interconnected fields — collectible design and painting — both of which explore the relationship between nature, material, and form through a minimalist, highly controlled visual language.

Raised in a family of artists and photographers, Turco developed an approach where both art and design coexist as parallel disciplines. Rooted in Italian industrial and artisanal traditions, his collectible works combine geometrical precision with materials such as stone, marble, minerals, resin, and metal, forming functional objects with a strong sculptural presence.

Nature informs his practice as structure rather than representation, guiding balance, rhythm, and subtle irregularities within form. Alongside his design pieces, Turco’s works expand these investigations with greater formal freedom, maintaining a fluid boundary between art and design while pursuing timeless objects defined by material integrity, proportion, and restraint.
