Aleksandr Biruk (b. 1992, Minsk) is a painter based in Warsaw, trained in both painting and monumental decorative art. His background informs a practice that treats painting as an environment for contemplation — a space for psychological and existential reflection.

Working through inner myth and symbolism, Biruk explores themes of identity, self-discovery, and the connection between body and nature. His compositions are imbued with archetypes and emotional states, often viewed through a therapeutic lens. The artist's incredible ability to combine colors, engaging elements, and layers of paint allows the viewer to travel across the canvas with their eyes, either contemplating and sinking into the depths of the brushstrokes
or feeling the lightness and exploring further.

A recurring element in his work is ritualism — understood as an instinctive, almost childlike act of transforming the ordinary into the sacred. Through this poetic reimagining of reality, Biruk reflects on the human impulse to assign meaning to the world. In 2024, he received the Gaude Polonia Scholarship and exhibited internationally while completing large-scale mural projects.
